Arrival in Tehran and reception of the group at the airport of Imam Khomeini (IKA) by the guide of Noyan. Transfer and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 :TEHRAN (135 km) QOM KASHAN (110 km)

Breakfast. Visit Tehran, the capital of Iran with its fourteen million inhabitants. This modern city is at an average altitude of 1200 meters; at the foot of the Alborz mountain which the highest point is Damavand (5600m). Tehran is the center of commercial and cultural activities and also the seat of the Iranian government. After a panoramic tour of the city, we also visit the sites as :
1. The Archaeological Museum where the rare objects representing the history, art and culture of Persia from the 6th millennium BC to the beginning of the Islamic period (7th century) are grouped together.

• The Archaeological Museum:

By visiting the archaeological museum, tourists find the opportunity to experience Iranian art and culture from prehistory to Islamic times. The prehistoric and historical periods unite by fusion. The prehistoric pottery works well with bas-reliefs and inscriptions from Persepolis. Glass and Ceramics museum: The exhibition of objects is divided into five categories, in separate galleries.

  • Lunch Break: Traditional Iranian cuisine is remarkable and most of the time takes a long time to be prepared. Iranian meals are usually made up of rice, vegetables, meat and various kinds of bread. The most consumed hot drink is tea, especially after each meal.

    • Carpet Museum:

    art of weaving carpet in Iran is as old as its history. The presented carpets, urban or nomadic, range from the Achaemenes period to the 20th century. In the afternoon depart for Kashan via Qom. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 :KASHAN YAZD(391 km)

After breakfast visit the Tabatabai House (19th c.), The Agha Bozorg mosque and the Feen Garden (17th and 19th centuries). After lunch departure to Yazd. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 :YAZD

Breakfast. Yazd is the microcosm of art and the dilemma in which one can see a religious and social harmony. It is also the city of the Zoroastrians with a unique and traditional architecture. Visit of the towers of silence, the Friday Mosque(14th-century), lunch in a traditional restaurant, continuation of visits in the afternoon: Dowlat-Abad Garden (19th-century), Mirchakhmaq Square (15th century) and the bazaar traditional (19th-century). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 :YAZD SHIRAZ (438 km)

After breakfast, departure to Shiraz. On the way visit the Friday mosque at Abarkuh and the 5000-year-old cypress. At Pasargades which is 70km from Persepolis visit of the tomb of Cyrus the Great and the vestiges of its palaces. Pasargadae was the first capital of the Persian empire, where the tomb and palaces of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenes dynasty, were visited. This site is also classified by UNESCO. Continue to Shiraz. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : SHIRAZ PERSEPOLIS (60 km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Persepolis (50km) the capital of the Achaemenes-empire built by Darius I (512 BC)- and classified by UNESCO. Continuation of visits to Nagsh-e-Rostam, Achaemenes necropolis with the bas-reliefs of the Sassanid period. In the afternoon, return to Shiraz. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : SHIRAZ

Day dedicated to the visit of the beautiful city of Shiraz. Visit of the Eram garden (12th century), the mausoleum of Hafez (the greatest poet of the 14th century), the mausoleum of Sadi, a great poet of the 13th century, the Nassir-ol-Molk Mosque (19th century) and The traditional bazaar of Vakil (18th c.) then a large mosque with the same name. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Shahrekord, capital of Chahar Mahal-E Bakhtiari province. On the way visit the nomads Bakhtiaris in the beautiful valleys of Zagros. On the circuit, one takes advantage of the landscapes much more than historical monuments. Arrival in Shahrekord. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast. Visit the historical bridges at Isfahan and the Vank Cathedral (17th century) in the Armenian district of Djolfa. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Tehran. On the way visit the Friday mosque in Natanz (12C) and the Sassanid village of Abyaneh whose inhabitants have preserved their traditional clothes and dialect. All the houses are red and adobe. Arrival in Tehran at the end of the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 :TEHRAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the palaces of the Pahlavi kings in Saad Abad, the palaces of the Qadjar kings in Golestan (19th c.) And a stroll in the traditional bazaar of Tehran dating to the same period.
